A vacancy exists in our multi-discipline organization at Malelane Agri Service (Pty) Ltd, We are seeking for a vibrant sales management person from the Agricultural and Automotive industry to support the Company with our prospective growth plans.

Applications will only be considered subject to the following:

o Matric

o significant degree (Agric - B.comm / B Sc. ) or equivalent practice

o A minimum of 5 (five) years Agricultural/automobile sales/service/technical practice.

o Minimum of 2 years' general management practice in the Agricultural and/or motor industry

o expertise of the Agricultural industry is a plus.

o practice in customer relations is valuable

o A completed Dealer Principal orientation programme.

o Tractor and product expertise would be advantageous.

o Driver's license

o Computer literate

o Must have Parts Management practice

The prosperous candidate will be responsible for the following (please Note: this list of responsibilities is not exhausted):

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

o Ensure that the dealership meets the financial growth targets, as per the agreed budget (dealership);

o Establish and maintain relationships with significant strategic stakeholders, both internal and external (dealership).

o Develop an annual competitive strategy in consultation with managers, through key drivers (Financial, Marketing, Customer practice, and People Development), with quarterly progress checks;

o Accountable for adherence to all significant regulatory, legislative and industry requirements, policies, procedures and SHEQ;

o Accountable for the close-out of all audit findings;

o Accountable for the management of staff engagement, motivation and alignment;

o Accountable to lead excellence in Sales, After Sales, Finance, Administration;

o Accountable to lead strategic projects for the dealership (Continuous Improvement);

o Accountable for meeting all significant organisational performance targets (Sales, CE, After Sales, Right-First-Time, Parts Purchases);

o Accountable to lead company representation excellence across the business, through management of appropriate etiquette, clothing, grooming, personal hygiene, appearance, language use, and customer / social media interface for the dealership;

o Ensure effective monthly reporting for Management (as per agreed measurements and metrics);

o Ensure the recruitment, succession and retention of the right staff to support the teams' performance;

o Accountable for the implementation of the people development (EE, SD, Training & Development, Performance Management, Induction, Probation, Coaching and Personal Develop Plans) for dealership and productions centre.

o Identifying, developing and establishing new markets within Southern Africa, Swaziland and Mozambique.

o Developing and distributing strategies and marketing plans for the product range.

o Monitoring market trends and changes and adjusting distribution channels accordingly.

o Ensuring Sales Team and Technical Advisors are trained on the application of specific AGRI products.

o Organising, coordinating and attending Farmers' days, agricultural events and marketing conferences.

o Assisting clients and sales team with all technical aspects of in-house and third-party products.

o Liaising with Senior Management regarding new product opportunities.

o Hold regular meetings/reviews with staff to improve business growth

o Plan and coordinate bi-annual stock takes

o Coordinate Inventory control

o Assist your General Manager to clean up outstanding orders from sales team.

o Conduct weekly visits to customers

o Bring new business on a regular basis

o contact with suppliers on back orders

o Maintain good relations with staff, workshop, parts suppliers, and clients.

o Review monthly management accounts to identify out of line performances/activities
