JOB PURPOSE

In line with the company sales strategy a dedicated Sales Associate is required to assist with all sales and sales related functions of Invequity's products and services, maintaining excellent service to clients.

Requirements: 

QUALIFICATIONS & practice

• BCom Degree or B Degree in significant field, marketing knowledge will be beneficial

• Strong MS Excel expertise

• At least 2 years' practice in related function

• practice in the B-BBEE arena working as a client service, consultant, or business developer will be advantageous

• Driver's License and own car (to conduct client visits)

tasks & RESPONSIBILITIES

The Key performance areas of the Sales Associates include:

• Assist in the prospecting and lead generation efforts as required

• Make initial contact where required with prospective clients, through online, email leads and referrals.

• Set initial contact and/or sales meetings for senior executive or management

• Where appropriate and appropriate, initiate contact with prospective clients and run sales meetings.

• Verify CIPC and all significant details

• Facilitate the full signing of the NDA with the prospective client.

• contact with senior executive and management to prepare a pack for the client.

• Prepare pack (general information for a PEF and the PP Presentation executives normally presents to the client.)

• Conduct client research such as web searches to obtain significant client information located on requirements/needs

• Capture all client information securely and store/file compliantly as per company standard on official company record and document management system

• Prepare the company Proposal

• Prepare Costing sheet to obtain costs using MS Excel for the Proposal

• Maintain the updated and accurate company Pipeline (including commission sheet)

• contact with third parties /internal and external stakeholders inclusive of strategic partners regarding their specific client referral.

• Provide clarity or assistance including to facilitate assisting the client to get what they need and share significant information.

• Conduct onboarding of client once signed proposal is received including invoicing instruction.

• Conduct any necessary data analysis towards drafting /compilation of necessary management reports/information sheets on prospects and sales pipeline

• Collaborate in query handling and obtain necessary information to ensure client perception and expectations are aligned

• Contribute towards including collating information necessary towards any client feedback and /or reporting required

• Conduct sales calls through appropriate mediums as required (e.g., participate in client visits/physical or virtual meetings as required)
