Key Performance Areas: Provide labour relations advice and/or representation to employees with regard to disciplinary hearings, workplace conflict and grievance disputes ? Assist in preparation for the disciplinary hearings and grievance including case information and provide administrative support ? Provide guidance to the management in terms of assistance in dealing with employee contractual; policies or benefits and grievance procedures? Representation for conciliations and arbitrations at the Dispute Resolution Council (DRC) as mandated by management ? Plan and develop labour related policies, procedures, functions, systems and channel them through the Manager: Human Capital for implementation ? Ensure effective flow of information process all over the organisation so that there are limited cases of misconduct and grievances in the workplace ? Provide guidance to HR personnel to ensure compliance with the labour laws and Contracts ? Participate in collective bargaining with union negotiation and analysing the impact of union proposal ? Recording the minutes of all bargaining issues with the union ? Research the issues, seek resolutions for union concerns and represent and protect management rights as necessary ? Advising HC management on labour related matters to help maintain a reliable relationship between employer and employees? Ensure that all parties are treated fairly according to the significant labour laws and that information regarding labour relations is understood by all through the working of HC policy ? Provide feedback on all cases of disciplinary hearings, grievances submitted and CCMA cases ?Consultation with employees regarding the HC policies and inputs to the amendment of HC policies? Provide support in implementing the Human Resource provisioning strategy
Requirements: Grade 12 and National Diploma or Degree in Industrial/Labour Relations or National Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management or Equivalent? Minimum 3 years' practice in Labour Relations environment?
